All the Hybrid Mutual Fund Schemes from Reliance Mutual Fund

Incorporated on Feb 24, 1995, Reliance Mutual Fund has been gaining huge popularity in the mutual fund market. The company has schemes in all fund categories and is managing a total assets size of Rs 244903 crore (as of Mar 31, 2018). Today, in this post, we will discuss the schemes that Reliance MF provide in hybrid category.

Reliance Equity Hybrid Fund

Launched on Jun 8, 2018, this fund is among the top performing funds in this category. The fund has 70.71% of its total investment in equities and the rest in debt instruments. It has a present NAV of Rs 54.46 (as on Jun 20, 2018) and is managing assets worth Rs 13539 crore (as on May 31, 2018). The returns it gave in past 1, 3, and 5 years are 7.89%, 11.55%, and 17.99%, respectively.

Reliance Retirement Fund Wealth Creation Scheme

Launched on Feb 11, 2015, this fund falls into the category of equity-oriented hybrid fund. This scheme has over 96.5% investment in equities and the remaining in cash and money market instruments, and the total assets size under its management is of Rs 1252 crore. This scheme is also eligible for tax exemption under section 80C. The returns it has shown in past 1 and 3 years time period are 10.45% and 10.60%, resp. This fund is really good for long term investments.

Reliance Hybrid Bond Fund

Launched on Dec 29, 2003, this fund falls in the MIP aggressive category. The fund aims at providing investors with a steady monthly income in the form of dividends. The fund has 76.14% investment in debt instruments, 19.73% in equities, and the remaining 4.13% in cash and cash derivatives. As of May 31, 2018, the scheme is managing a total assets of Rs 2039 crore and the returns it has given in past 1, 3, and 5 years are 2.60%, 7.07%, and 9.51%, respectively (as on Jun 20, 2018).

Reliance Arbitrage Fund

This scheme was launched on Oct 14, 2010, and falls in the category of Arbitrage type funds. It has 65.79% investment in equity, 24.11% in cash & cash derivatives, and the remaining in debt instruments. The fund has given returns of 6.33%, 6.23%, and 7.3% in 1, 3, and 5 years, respectively and is currently managing assets worth Rs 7955 crore (as on May 31, 2018).

Reliance Retirement Fund Income Generation Scheme

This scheme was launched by Reliance MF on the same date as the wealth creation scheme, but with a different objective. While the wealth creation scheme emphasizes long-term capital appreciation, this scheme was launched with the objective to provide investors with a fixed income source. The scheme has 76.03% investment in the debt market, 20.16% in the equities market, and 3.81% in cash and cash derivatives. The fund is managing an AUM of Rs 208 crore (as on May 31, 2018) and the return it has given in 3 year period is 6.20% (as on Jun 20, 2018).
