Performance Analysis

The scheme has been a consistent performer for most of its life. The short-term returns can get affected by the market volatility, but the long-term returns it provides are always better than the benchmark and category. As on Jul 16, 2018, the returns that are given by Reliance Multi Cap Fund in 1, 3, 5, and 10 years are 0.59%, 4.23%, 16.71%, and 17.08%, respectively and the returns given by the benchmark (NIFTY 500 TRI) in the respective time period are 8.02%, 10.26%, 16.27%, and 13.02%. Here we can see that the scheme is unable to beat the benchmark in 1 and 3 years trailing returns, but has shown considerable improvement in the 5 and 10 years of returns.
